2025 Annual Student Scholastic Bursary

Calling All Graduates

Minimum Eligibility: Qualification is based on full-time enrollment at any post-secondary institution and should commence the first semester/term following graduation from Grade 12.

Recipient selection shall be based on the following criteria:

JESA established its Annual Student Scholastic Bursary Program in November 2006. The goal of this program is to recognize students of Jamaican heritage who have achieved academic excellence and demonstrated active community volunteering and participation.

Funding is derived from local businesses, corporations, individuals and JESA’s fundraising activities. Presentation will be made at our annual fundraising banquet on Saturday, November 1st, 2025.

Support Education

We provide scholarships and bursaries to students of Jamaican heritage, helping them pursue higher education and achieve their dreams.

Care for Veterans

We extend assistance to ex-soldiers in need, including support for the Curphey Home in Jamaica, ensuring dignity, care, and community for those who served.

Strengthen Community

Through annual events, youth sponsorship, and cultural initiatives, we bring people together, celebrate our heritage, and create lasting bonds across generations.
